We’re honored to partner with Masakan, a remarkable Seattle pop-up led by mother-daughter duo Masitah Hamzah and Safira Ezani. Together, they’re bringing Malaysian cuisine to the forefront of the Pacific Northwest food scene.

With so few Malaysian offerings in the region, Masakan stands out for its rich blend of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences — a reflection of Malaysia’s diverse culinary heritage. From deeply flavorful Beef Rendang to fragrant Nasi Lemak, each dish is crafted with care, connection, and an unmistakable sense of home.

What began in 2020 as a way for Masitah and Safira to reconnect with their roots has grown into something bigger — a movement that celebrates culture, family, and the powerful stories food can tell.
